The
first memory of my life that i can remember is when i was 5 years old...i can't be sure.
It was night time and i wanted some candy from the corner store. In my mind,
the only way that i could get some candy during the late hours of the night was to pretend
that i was sick and with a fever...i had heard my parents saying a couple of days before
that candy would help a fever go down. I'm sure my parents knew that i was lying,
but my dad took my out at about 8:00 pm and we walked to the store. Then i didn't
know, but now i realize that the particular place where we lived had a nightly
curfew...that's why no one was outside when we took our little walk down the street.
All i remember was the dark road lit only by an occasional lightbulb hanging from
the walls of the surrounding houses. I remember asking my dad why there was no one
on the streets...funny thing is, i don't remember what he said. Isn't funny how we
usually remember the things associated with us, but we usually forget things associated
with others? Anyhow, that's my first memory. This page basically takes you through my life so far...i'm only 2-. Don't ask how old...
